Cesc Fabregas injury worry for Chelsea - reports

Cesc Fabregas could miss Chelsea's next two matches against Aston Villa and Everton, according to newspaper reports.

The Guardian and the Daily Telegraph both claim Fabregas is still struggling with the hamstring injury he sustained in Chelsea's 1-0 League Cup win over Liverpool.

The Spain international sat out of Saturday's 1-1 draw with Manchester City, along with the suspended Diego Costa, and could face a further two matches on the sidelines.

It is reported Fabregas may be back in contention for the Champions League meeting with Paris Saint-Germain on Feb. 17.

The 27-year-old has been in excellent form since signing for Chelsea from Barcelona last summer, recording 15 assists in 21 Premier League appearances.

With Fabregas potentialy missing, manager Jose Mourinho could turn to new signing Juan Cuadrado, who arrived from Fiorentina on transfer deadline day.
