West Ham have signed Hamilton defender Stephen Hendrie on a pre-contract after agreeing a 1 million-pound compensation package, the Lanarkshire club have confirmed.
The 20-year-old will join the Londoners at the end of the season.
Hamilton claimed that Reading and Bournemouth were also interested in the former Accies youth player, who was due to be out of contract in the summer.
