Yevhen Konoplyanka to decide on Roma move, say Dnipro

Yevhen Konoplyanka is pondering an offer from Roma after his club Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk reached an agreement with the Serie A club.

Konoplyanka, 25, who is also a reported target of Everton, must now decide whether or not to join the Giallorossi with his club's general manager Andriy Stetsenko saying an acceptable offer had been tabled, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

"We've already reached an agreement with the Italians," he said. "Now it's up to the lad to have the final say. He's considering it while we're already looking for a replacement."

The winger has been on Dnipro's books since the age of 16, debuting for the Urainian side two years later. He has gone on to make 189 appearances for the club and has been capped 42 times at international level by Ukraine.

A year ago, a reported 16-million-pound bid from Liverpool was turned down by Dnipro after the player had already agreed terms on a move.

West Ham, Tottenham and Everton had also been linked with the attack-minded winger, who is now on the verge of moving to Rome.

However, sources told ESPN FC on Tuesday that Konoplyanka may instead wait until he becomes a free agent in the summer, when he would have the pick from several of Europe's top clubs.
