AC Milan's general manager Adriano Galliani was caught out by Italian radio station RDS on Tuesday, revealing his winter transfer targets and support for coach Filippo Inzaghi to an imposter professing to be Sampdoria president Massimo Ferrero. The spoof call had Galliani convinced he was actually talking to Ferrero, and at one stage asking him if he would consider selling striker Stefano Okaka to the Rossoneri. "Are you looking to move anybody on in January?" Galliani asked. "We're looking for a striker on loan and we'll probably end up taking [Mattia] Destro or [Pablo Daniel] Osvaldo -- you wouldn't give us Okaka on loan with a view to a permanent move, would you?" The man masquerading as Ferrero said he would be open to offers, at which point Galliani hurriedly brought the conversation to an end, but not before having paid his compliments to a Samp side who are "doing great things" this season. The same cannot be said about his own Milan side, who were eliminated from the Coppa Italia by Lazio on Tuesday night amid renewed calls for Galliani to be dismissed. "Things are looking grim for us," Galliani said during the radio interview. "We've been going ahead early on in games, scoring and thinking the rest of the game will be easy, and then we concede and fall apart." Nevertheless, Galliani gave his full support to Inzaghi, saying he hopes the situation will improve under him, and adding: "If no biblical catastrophe should occur, we will go to the end of the season with him."
