Neil Lennon was delighted with his "heroic" Bolton side after they earned an FA Cup fourth-round replay against Liverpool with a goalless draw at Anfield. The Championship club withstood heavy pressure in the final stages and goalkeeper Adam Bogdan made a number of saves to frustrate the hosts. Bogdan's performance stood out, but Lennon said that every Bolton player on the pitch at Anfield deserved credit. "Games like this, away from home against top opposition, you need your goalkeeper to play well,'' he told BT Sport. "I've experienced before with Celtic in the Champions League and Fraser Forster. We're blessed here with two top goalkeepers. Bogdan showed his quality today but they all did. They were heroic today. "At half-time we asked them to be in the tie at the end of it and I'm very proud. We were down to the bare bones in terms of squad and we had a 100-year-old front two [Emile Heskey and Eidur Gudjohnsen] but they ran themselves into the ground.'' Bolton remain in financial straits but Lennon has overseen a turnaround in results since taking over in October -- something he puts down to instilling belief in his players. "It's about confidence,'' he said. "That comes from results and as a manager you have to get results. You can have projects and philosophies but the bottom line is results and that gives you confidence. We're mentally stronger now.''
