Chelsea target Juan Cuadrado not leaving Fiorentina - Vincenzo Montella

There is "no possibility" that Chelsea target Juan Cuadrado will leave Fiorentina, according to the club's manager Vincenzo Montella.

Chelsea are monitoring Colombia international Cuadrado for a potential January move, sources told ESPN FC this week.

The Times reported on Thursday that the Blues are to consider a second bid for the winger after having a 20.6 million-pound offer rejected.

Speaking after Fiorentina's 3-1 win over Atalanta in the Coppa Italia, a game in which Cuadrado scored from the penalty spot, Montella was calm about the uncertainty surrounding one of his key players

Montella said: "As far as I know there is no possibility for him to leave Fiorentina.

"He isn't really concerned by all this talk. Sometimes these situations are taken all out of proportion."

Cuadrado, 26, has started 16 Serie A matches for the Viola this season, scoring four times and also managing as many assists.
