Joe Hart: Manchester City can put things right at Chelsea

Joe Hart is adamant Manchester City can right the wrongs of Sunday's defeat to Arsenal when they face Chelsea in the potential title decider at Stamford Bridge.

City are five points behind Jose Mourinho's league leaders after losing 2-0 to Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium but Hart is confident the defending champions can bounce back.

The England goalkeeper is sure City's chances did not end with the surprise setback against Arsene Wenger's side, telling Sky Sports: "All is not lost.

"We are confident and sometimes stuff happens, you lose games, it wasn't down to a lack of effort or a lack of ability. It was a penalty and a set-piece has cost us. We have performed well for the majority of the season. Sometimes it happens but we will bounce back."

City, who are on a mid-season break in the United Arab Emirates, visit Stamford Bridge on Jan. 31 but, while it has been billed as the game that will decide the destiny of the title, Hart is conscious there are 16 games remaining.

He added: "There is a long way to go. We have got Middlesbrough in the FA Cup -- we are looking to win that [competition] again. That was a great feeling a couple of years ago [when City won it in 2011], and then we go to Chelsea and we put right what happened on Sunday."

Hart believes City's team spirit will be an asset in the rest of the campaign, saying: "We are together. We are a great group. I enjoy each player's company and it helps there is a lot of quality in the dressing room."
