Sources: Arsenal target move for PSG striker Jean-Kevin Augustin

Arsenal are eyeing a move for highly rated Paris Saint-Germain youngster Jean-Kevin Augustin, sources have told ESPN FC.

Augustin, 17, is out of contract at the Parc Des Princes in the summer and he is ready to move after failing to get a chance in PSG's expensively assembled squad.

The forward joined PSG from A.C.B.B in 2009 but is yet to make a senior appearance for Laurent Blanc's side despite being named as a substitute on four occasions.

Augustin is free to talk to foreign clubs this month and the likes of Juventus, Roma, Benfica, Porto and West Ham are all thought to have expressed an interest.

However, Arsenal have now entered the race for the France under-18 international with scouts alerting Arsene Wenger to his talents.

Sources have told ESPN FC that Arsenal have already held talks with Augustin's agents and are ready to make a move to bring the player to the Emirates.

Arsenal could land the teenager for a nominal fee now, or have him sign a pre-contract agreement which would see him arrive in the summer when his contract at PSG expires.
