Vincent Kompany, Sergio Aguero and Edin Dzeko back for Manchester City

Vincent Kompany, Sergio Aguero and Edin Dzeko could all make their Manchester City comebacks in Saturday's game at Everton.

Manager Manuel Pellegrini has a fully fit squad, although Yaya Toure is absent as he prepares for the African Nations Cup.

Strikers Aguero and Dzeko both returned to training this week, while centre-back Kompany is also available after groin and hamstring problems.

Aguero, who is City's 19-goal top scorer, has missed their last seven games after suffering a knee injury in City's previous match against Everton, a 1-0 win at the start of December.

Dzeko, who has only struck four times this season, then hurt his calf in the warm-up before the victory at Leicester the following week while Kompany has not featured since the match at the King Power Stadium.

But Pellegrini said: "Aguero and Dzeko are both in the squad list. [Kompany] also. All three of them."

Toure has scored seven goals in his last 11 games for City and Pellegrini said: "We cannot say it doesn't matter that Yaya is not here. He is a very important player for us."

Everton finished fifth last season but are only 13th now and Pellegrini added: "Maybe they are not in their best moment but they have a very difficult team, they play very well with good players and a very good manager."

Everton were the only team to fail to take a point over the Christmas period and Pellegrini admitted he did not see their slump coming.

He said: "Maybe it is a surprise because it is a very good team with good players."
