Paris Saint-Germain star Zlatan Ibrahimovic rules out Roma move

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has dismissed rumours linking him with a move to Roma in the summer by stating he has every intention of seeing out his contract with Paris Saint-Germain.

The Sweden international, who has never spent more than three years with the same club, has been linked with a return to Serie A and Roma's name has been doing the rounds for the former Juventus, AC Milan and Inter Milan forward.

Ibrahimovic has won trophies wherever he has played and rumours of him joining Roma had been met with enthusiasm in the Italian capital.

However, he told Mediaset: "There are no negotiations. I know that somebody has been talking about it, but there's no truth to it. I'm not coming back to Italy.

"I'm happy in Paris and I still have a year on my contract with PSG. We'll see what happens after that but, at the moment, I'm happy in Paris. Roma's fans will just have to come to terms with it."

Ibrahimovic won Serie A three times with Inter, once with Milan and twice with Juventus, although the two with the Bianconeri were revoked as part of the Calciopoli scandal.

The 33-year-old left Milan in 2012, signing a three-year contract with PSG. He extended that by a year in 2013 and is currently tied to the French champions until 2016.
