Mario Balotelli was not included in the Liverpool squad for the visit of Leicester City on New Year's Day.
Balotelli, who came off the bench in the 83rd minute in the 4-1 win over Swansea City on Monday, was not included in a squad that featured 17-year-old Sheyi Ojo among the substitute.

Balotelli has yet to score a Premier League goal since signing for Liverpool from AC Milan in the summer and manager Brendan Rodgers recently said the Italian does not fit his system at the club.
