West Brom have rubbished reports that Liverpool are closing in on a deal for striker Saido Berahino.
The Daily Mail and Daily Mirror have claimed the Reds are keen to sign the England under-21 international, who has also been linked with Tottenham, while rumours have circulated that a deal worth around 23 million pounds could be completed.
However, West Brom -- who are currently searching for a new manager after the dismissal of Alan Irvine -- used their official Twitter account to insist a transfer is not in the offing.
Ok time to clear a few things up. One final time, this Berahino to @LFC story for £23m is and always has been an entire fabrication...

Despite the denial, the local Express & Star newspaper has reported that West Brom believe many top clubs are keeping tabs on the 21-year-old, who is contracted to the Baggies until 2017.
