Valencia have announced that Argentina midfielder Enzo Perez will join the Spanish club from Benfica on a permanent basis in the January transfer window.
The 28-year-old Perez arrived in Valencia from Portugal on Monday night and will undergo a medical before signing a contract, the club said.
Perez joined Benfica from Argentine club Estudiantes in June 2011 for a reported fee of 5.5 million euros and has scored eight goals in 64 appearances.
Perez made his senior international debut in September 2009 under coach Diego Maradona in a friendly against Ghana and played in the World Cup final against Germany this July.
Valencia did not disclose a transfer fee.
