Guillermo Ochoa could leave Malaga, agent says

Malaga are willing to listen to offers for Guillermo Ochoa, the goalkeeper's agent has said.

Mexico international Ochoa left French side Ajaccio in the summer and, after impressing at the World Cup, opted to join Malaga on a free transfer.

The 29-year-old signed a three-year deal at La Rosaleda but has so far found himself playing back-up to Carlos Kameni in La Liga, leading to speculation over a potential January move, with Liverpool reported to be keen.

His agent, Jorge Berlanga, has told Calcio Mercato that Malaga would be willing to cash in on the keeper if the right offer arrived.

"It's true -- there was a meeting with Malaga and it was quite positive," he said. "We will continue to talk to the club and, if a good offer arrives in January, we'll assess it and see if we can reach an agreement that suits all parties.

"It's obvious that we have to do what's best for Guillermo. We have to get an offer that sparks his enthusiasm. There's been some contact already, but as yet there hasn't been anything to enchant us enough to seek a change of scenery."
