Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp has warned that his struggling side's difficulties will not be resolved overnight and said they may not sign new players in the January window. BVB, who have been at the wrong end of the Bundesliga table throughout the season, suffered another defeat when they went down 1-0 at Hertha Berlin on Sunday. Their difficulties led Germany legend Lothar Matthaus to tell a Sky talkshow on Sunday that the atmosphere at the club has been too friendly. "Too much is swept under the carpet at Dortmund," he said. "I'd suggest BVB hire a character like Bayern Munich have in Matthias Sammer, an admonisher -- someone who addresses things more clearly." #INSERT type:image caption:Struggling Dortmund slumped to another defeat at Hertha Berlin. "There is no-one like Sammer here, but still we have many who have a bearing on the team. "We did not need an admonisher before, and that would mean that our problem is our attitude. But that's not it. Our problem is different, and we can't change it overnight." He said adding to the squad in January was not necessarily the answer, explaining: "I am not calling for transfers. Quantity does not automatically mean more quality. "We have more than enough players, but you can be sure that we think about whether changes make sense. But it's not necessary to just add players." Klopp, Zorc and Watzke are set to discuss the first half of the season following the games at home to Wolfsburg and at Bremen before the league's winter break. Dortmund have taken only 14 points from their 15 league games so far, scoring just 15 goals, and are in 16th place -- the relegation playoff spot.
