Luis Enrique: City's Sergio Aguero is good - but he's no Lionel Messi

Luis Enrique has praised Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero -- but stressed that he feels no player in world football is better than Lionel Messi.

Barcelona boss Enrique, looking ahead to the Champions League round of 16 clash between the two sides next year, said in the Manchester Evening News he felt Aguero was one of the game's top 10 players.

Messi's Argentina international teammate has scored 19 times in 20 matches for the Premier League champions this season, while Messi has hit 21 in 21 games for Barca.

And Enrique said: "He [Aguero] is probably up there in the top 10 or so players, but for me the No. 1 is Leo Messi. Everyone else comes after him."

He warned that Messi and Barcelona faced "a very hard match" against City -- the second successive season they have faced them in the competition -- but added: "If we're on form, we are good enough to cope with any competition.

"I always think positively, and I know we are quite capable of getting through the round against Manchester City."

Meanwhile, Messi has said he is looking forward to facing international colleague Aguero -- a man he claims to "always beat at FIFA."

"Looking forward to playing in the next round of the UEFA Champions League," he wrote on his official Facebook page.

"It'll be really nice to face my friend Sergio Aguero as I always beat him at FIFA, but let's see what happens on the pitch."
