Manchester City and Juventus keen on Bulgarian teen Bozhidar Kraev

Manchester City and Juventus have offered the highly rated Levski Sofia midfielder Bozhidar Kraev a trial.

Levski coach and sporting director Georgi Ivanov has confirmed City and Juve are interested in having a closer look at the 17-year-old Bulgarian.

He told BNT in quotes translated by The Guardian: "City want him for a seven-day trial whereas Juventus are offering him three days of training, and he will go. Of course, we should not take for granted that it will result in a contract, but it is a positive signal for Kraev's progress."

He added: "The player will make the decision on which club he wants to join and whether he will go."

Kraev, a graduate of Hristo Stoichkov's academy, made his debut for Levski in July and scored a hat trick in the 7-1 Bulgarian Cup win over Spartak Varna in September.
