Rafael Benitez urges Napoli players to rise to 'difficult' AC Milan challenge

Napoli coach Rafael Benitez has called on his side to improve on their Europa League performance against Slovan Bratislava on Thursday when they return to Serie A action against AC Milan on Sunday.

Although Napoli eased to a 3-0 win to seal top spot in their Europa League group, Benitez said he felt they should have added further strikes.

"It's a positive result and we're pleased with it, but we could have done more," he said. "There were more goals in it for us."

Benitez urged his payers to show a more ruthless edge at the San Siro on Sunday night, telling them to prepare themselves for a much tougher test than that posed by Bratislava, who lost all six of their Europa League games.

"They've got quality players and they're playing at home," he said. "They've got an attacking mentality and we've got to work hard all together on defending, keeping things tight, before pressing them.

"It's going to be a different kind of game. We needed to have the right attitude today, and we had that. Against Milan, we'll now have more confidence to do well, but we know how difficult it will be against some of their players.

"We're going to have to be cautious, and then we can win."

Napoli's attention will then turn to the draw for the last 32 of the Europa League.

Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, Villarreal and Athletic Bilbao are all potential opponents, and Napoli's Faouzi Ghoulam told ESPN FC: "We're not scared of anybody. We can beat anybody, so we'll just take what we get."
