Aaron Ramsey says the Arsenal squad were determined to get a result against Galatasaray on Tuesday for under-fire manager Arsene Wenger.
Wenger has faced criticism from Gunners fans following the 3-2 defeat to Stoke on Saturday, just a week after a group of supporters unfurled a banner at West Brom calling for the Frenchman to leave the club.
However, Ramsey, 23, insists he and his teammates are fully behind their boss and dedicated the 4-1 Champions League victory over Galatasaray to Wenger.
"Every player here wants to work hard for him [Wenger], we have proven that again," Ramsey, who scored twice against the Turkish side, told the Evening Standard. "He has been under some unfair criticism but we are in it together. We wanted to get the result for us and for him.
"Whenever we go into a game, he knows our qualities, always believes in us and gives us a great feeling. Every time we go out there we are representing ourselves, our club and our manager."
Arsenal were 3-0 up after just 29 minutes and looked like they may have been able to win by the six-goal margin required to top Group D if Borussia Dortmund drew against Anderlecht.
However, the Gunners' intensity dropped in the second half and they ultimately had to settle for second place in their group.
"Somebody said it was 0-0 at Dortmund during half-time. We felt at half-time that we could have been ahead a lot more but it was not to be," Ramsey said. "The main thing was finishing off in style and looking forward to the draw on Monday."
