Dortmund's Jurgen Klopp ready for 'perfect match' vs. Anderlecht

Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp is eager for his side to build on their return to winning ways when they host Anderlecht on Tuesday.

Despite impressing in Group D, winning four of their five matches, Klopp's Dortmund have struggled in the Bundesliga.

Dortmund triumphed 1-0 against Hoffenheim on Friday to lift them out of the relegation zone but they are still a lowly 14th in the table.

The club need only one point from their last match against Anderlecht to finish above Arsenal as group winners, before returning to Bundesliga action with an away match at Hertha Berlin on Saturday.

"Anderlecht will be a real challenge. It's the perfect match," Klopp told the prematch news conference on Monday. "Stability is still the most important thing for us and therefore we want to prove that we can carry on playing the way we played in the second half against Hoffenheim."

The struggling Bundesliga club will be without veteran midfielder Sebastian Kehl who "took a lot of knocks, one very painful one in the ribs and another on the thigh," Klopp said.

The Dortmund coach also voiced his surprise about the goalkeeper discussion at the club following Roman Weidenfeller's demotion to the bench against Hoffenheim.

Klopp told the news conference that he has already made up his mind who will be between Dortmund posts on Tuesday, but did not give away whether Mitch Langerak will get a second consecutive start or if the Germany international will return.

Klopp reiterated that Friday's decision had "nothing to do with previous performances" and that "it's all about the here and now."

"This was a decision for this moment in time. I trust Roman Weidenfeller 100 percent. And Mitch too. That's all," Klopp added.
