Lionel Messi was one of the five players selected by UEFA to undergo an anti-doping control prior to Barcelona's Champions League clash with Paris Saint-Germain. It all appeared to a be a standard routine check-up until Messi revealed that his test was more in-depth than that of the other players.
"Doping control. Of the five chosen, I was the only one who had to give urine and blood samples... bit strange isn't it?" Messi wrote on his Instagram account, where he also published a photograph of himself inside the club changing rooms.

It's not the first time that the Argentine has expressed his frustration at being singled out for anti-doping controls. During the summer World Cup finals he posted on social-networking sites that he was unable to celebrate Argentina's qualification for the final due to having to pass anti-doping tests.
