Massimo Allegri wary of Juventus Champions League visit to Malmo

Juventus coach Massimo Allegri has absolute respect for Malmo's record at home as he looks for the win which will keep the Bianconeri's hopes of reaching the last 16 of the Champions League alive on Wednesday.

Prior to their 2-0 defeat at home to Atletico Madrid -- a result Allegri felt was harsh on the Swedish side -- Malmo had not been beaten or breached in their last eight European games at the Malmo New Stadium.

The two goals Atletico scored were the first they had conceded at home in Europe this season and that is enough of a warning for Allegri not to take Wednesday's clash lightly.

"At home, they play a lot more aggressively than they do away," Allegri said at a news conference in Malmo. "It's going to be a tough game for us."

Carlos Tevez came to Juve's rescue in the reverse fixture, breaking his five-year scoring drought in the Champions League to net a brace in a 2-0 win at the Juventus Stadium. He has not scored away from home in Europe for even longer, though, and there would be no better time than now for him to end that run.

"Tevez will score tomorrow," said Allegri. "Like he did at home for the first time in five years, he will score here. We've got all we need to emerge with a positive result, and that would be a win.

"Tomorrow is another game and it's the result which counts. We've got to be quick and alert to realise where we are playing and what's at stake."

They will be playing on a particularly difficult pitch which is suffering from the onset of a Scandinavian winter, although that will not be an excuse.

"We've got to show we've got the capability to play on this pitch," said Tevez. "It's bad, but it's bad for both sides not just us."
