Philippines booked their place in the semifinals of the 2014 AFF Suzuki Cup for a third straight tournament with a 4-0 victory over Indonesia in their second Group A match in Hanoi.
It was a second consecutive win for Thomas Dooley's side who beat Laos 4-1 on Saturday.
The defeat means that the Indonesians, with just one point from two matches and a poor goal difference, are on the brink of elimination and need a minor miracle to advance.
The Azkals took the lead after 16 minutes when forward Phil Younghusband converted from the penalty spot.
After it was 1-0 at halftime, Philippines doubled their advantage through a 52nd minute goal from midfielder Manuel Ott.
The third goal came in comical fashion when Philippines were awarded an indirect free-kick in the penalty box in the 68th minute. As the Indonesian players argued with the referee, Younghusband took the free-kick quickly, laying it off to Martin Steuble who blasted home.
Indonesia were reduced to 10 men in the 73rd minute when defender Rizky Pora was shown a straight red card after he brought down Younghusband when he was clear on goal.
In the 79th minute, the demolition job was complete when substitute Rob Gier -- a former Wimbledon defender -- scrambled the ball into the net after his header came off the post to score his second international goal
It was Philippines' first ever victory over Indonesia in a competitive match at senior level.
The Indonesians, who have never won the Suzuki Cup despite appearing in four finals, will play Laos in their final Group A match on Friday while unbeaten Philippines face co-hosts Vietnam.
