Udinese have confirmed that forward Luis Muriel is set for a spell out with a thigh injury.
Muriel, who pulled up in pain during a friendly against Red Star Belgrade at the weekend, will be re-examined in eight to 10 days when it will become clearer how long he is set to be sidelined for.
In the meantime, the Colombia international will carry on receiving physiotherapy treatment on what his club described as a "first to second degree" lesion to his thigh.
"The player has already started physiotherapy as appropriate,'' a statement on Udinese's official website read.
"In eight-10 days will be repeated examinations which will better enable us to define a more precise prognosis once the swelling goes down.''
