Wayne Rooney has told the Daily Record he would relish an England victory over Scotland having been managed by Sir Alex Ferguson and David Moyes.
England face their rivals at Celtic Park on Tuesday night in their first meeting since the Three Lions' 3-2 win last August.
And Rooney, who was managed by Scottish coaches Ferguson and Moyes at Manchester United and Everton, is eagerly anticipating the fixture.
The striker, who scored in England's 3-1 win over Slovenia on Saturday, said: "This is a massive game for me. We want to win. It's about bragging rights for everyone.
"We won't be taking it lightly at all. We'll be going in there to win.
"I don't know whether the manager spoke to other players over being rested, but 100 percent I'll be going there.
"With the history of England and Scotland -- and I grew up with David Moyes and Alex Ferguson -- this is certainly one I want to win.
"There was banter with Sir Alex about England and Scotland, but I always came out on top.
"It won't be a friendly. You have some games with England and there is that friendly feeling to it.
"But I always remember one of the most competitive games I've played for England was against Argentina in Switzerland. Against Scotland it won't be like a friendly either.
"I can't wait. It's great for Britain, and it will be a fantastic atmosphere."
