Liverpool loanee Divock Origi committed to Lille for the season

Divock Origi has insisted he intends to see out his season-long loan at Lille after he was quoted as saying he would "love" to link up with parent club Liverpool in January.

The Reds signed Origi from Lille in the summer but the Belgium international was sent back to the Ligue 1 club to continue his development.

There had been some suggestion that the 19-year-old could head to Anfield in January, but he has used his Twitter account to make clear that he still intends to remain at Lille for the rest of the campaign.

Origi, who cost Liverpool 9.5 million pounds, has scored four goals in 17 appearances for Lille this season.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers told a news conference last week that the Anfield club were in regular contact with Origi and monitoring his progress in France.
