Chile's Claudio Bravo excited about taking on Luis Suarez of Uruguay

Chile captain Claudio Bravo says he is looking forward to facing his Barcelona teammate Luis Suarez in Tuesday's friendly against Uruguay.

Bravo and Suarez both joined the Blaugrana in the summer, with the former Real Sociedad goalkeeper slotting straight into the team for La Liga games, while the ex-Liverpool attacker had to wait until recently to make his debut due to his four-month ban for biting Giorgio Chiellini at the World Cup.

Suarez finally made his bow in Barca's 3-1 defeat at Real Madrid last month, and then missed a number of chances in his second game -- a 1-0 loss at home to Celta Vigo. However, the striker was more impressive when coming off the bench on Saturday at Almeria, setting up both goals as his side came from behind to win 2-1.

Bravo told a news conference that Suarez is gradually getting back to his best, and that facing his Barca teammate on Tuesday added an extra edge to the friendly game in Santiago.

"Luis is an important player in his national team, as he is with Barca," he said. "He is improving his level day-by-day. He played a great game against Almeria. Like many players that are world-class, it is a challenge for us [to face him], a motivation."
