The agent of Sevilla midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak has denied that Arsenal have been in contact about a January move for the defensive midfielder.

Poland international Krychowiak has been in excellent form since joining Sevilla for 5.5 million pounds from Ligue 1 side Reims last summer, establishing himself as a key player as the Andalucian side have challenged towards the top of the La Liga table.

This has led to speculation in England and Spain that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger sees the 24-year-old as the kind of player who can finally stiffen up the Gunners' midfield.

However Krychowiak's agent Cezary Kucharski has told Seville-based paper Estadio Deportivo that there is nothing to the speculation so far, and his client is happy where he is at the Estadio Sanchez Pizjuan.

"At the moment I have no contact with Arsenal in relation to Krychowiak," Kucharski said. "He is focused 100 percent on Sevilla, and not thinking about any other club."
