Wolverhampton Wanderers have signed goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak on a short-term deal until January 2015. Kuszczak, 32, was released by Brighton in June and has been on trial with Wolves for the past few weeks. "I'm very pleased, I think it's a big club, and definitely a club that deserves to be in the Premier League," Kuszczak told the club's official website. "I tried to find a place for myself in football for the last couple of months. I've been training with several clubs and waiting for the right call. "Wolves came and I decided to sign a contract here and I'm glad about that." The Poland international was at Manchester United between 2007 and 2012 and joins as cover for Wolves' reserve goalkeeper Aaron McCarey who is currently out with a back injury. He is available for Wolves' game at Ipswich Town on Tuesday.
