Thiago Silva has returned to first-team training with Paris Saint-Germain as the club captain closes in on a long-awaited return to action. The 30-year-old featured in PSG's opening Ligue 1 game of the season, before damaging his right hamstring in a friendly against Napoli on Aug. 11. The problem has sidelined him ever since, although the Brazil international played an active role throughout Monday's training session. Having come through unscathed, the former AC Milan player could make his competitive return against Lens in Friday's Ligue 1 encounter. That would be welcome news to PSG coach Laurent Blanc, who -- with Marquinhos and David Luiz also out injured -- currently has just one fully-fit centre-back in the veteran Zoumana Camara.
