Dirk Kuyt has announced his retirement from international football following a 10-year career with Netherlands.

Kuyt, 34, earned 104 caps and scored 24 goals for the Oranje, and was part of Louis van Gaal's squad that finished third at the World Cup in Brazil this summer.
The Fenerbahce forward has featured in both of Guus Hiddink's squads since the coach took over following Van Gaal's exit to Manchester United after the World Cup, but after appearing as an unused substitute in their Euro 2016 qualifying defeat to the Czech Republic, Kuyt has decided to concentrate on club football.
"I can't see myself putting a lot of effort into Oranje and not playing much," he told the Dutch FA's official website. "I can look back with enormous pride on 10 wonderful years in the Netherlands team."
Kuyt was a seasoned veteran for the Dutch national side, appearing at three Word Cups and two European Championships since making his international debut under Marco van Basten against Liechtenstein in September 2004.
The forward has played for Utrecht, Feyenoord and Liverpool before joining Turkish giants Fenerbahce in 2012, for whom he has scored 18 goals in 64 Super Lig appearances.
