Qatar SC move to third in the Qatar Stars League after beating Al Gharafa

Qatar SC inflicted a resounding 5-1 defeat on home side Al Gharafa to move into third place of the Qatar Stars League (QSL) table at the expense of their opponent for the evening.

Forward Hamdi Harbaoui scored a hat-trick for Qatar SC. Teammates Mahir Yousef Baka and Young Cheol Cho completed the scoring to boost the visitors points tally to 12 from six matches.

The League leaders and runners-up, Lekhwiya and Al Sadd, have 15 and 13 points respectively but both have a game in hand having played only 5 matches.

Al Khor moved off the foot of the table with a first win of the season, 3-2 over Al Shahaniya. The win was enabled by a large slice of fortune, with Abdullatif Salah Ali scoring the winner through his own goal in the 90th minute.

Prior to that, Claudio Luciano Vazquez and Ulises Jesus Pascua of Al Khor had responded to Julio Peu's brace for Al Shahaniya..
