The former Liverpool forward struck his side's second goal after 15 minutes, running onto a through-ball from Alen Halilovic to scuff a shot in off the far post.

He notched his second midway through the second half, turning and curling home an effort from 20 yards.

Uruguay international Suarez, who remains banned from competitive action for biting Italy's Giorgio Chiellini at the World Cup, will not be available to Luis Enrique's first team until Oct. 25 -- the date of the first clasico at Real Madrid.

The Barca B game, played at the Ciutat Esportivo training ground, saw 10 million euro summer signing Thomas Vermaelen head the opening goal.

The ex-Arsenal left back played 60 minutes as he continues to step up his recovery from the hamstring injury that has kept him out of action until now.

Although the match was played behind closed doors, it was broadcast live on Spanish, Catalan and Indonesian TV. The visiting tour party are also playing games against other La Liga reserve teams during their visit.
