Marcelo Bielsa no longer has problem with Marseille's Vincent Labrune

Marseille coach Marcelo Bielsa said his row with his bosses was over after holding talks with president Vincent Labrune.

French media had reported that the duo were scheduled to meet on Monday to discuss comments Bielsa had made to the press in which he claimed he had been lied to when he took over in the summer and criticised the club's new recruits, saying he had not sanctioned any of the arrivals.

However, following his team's 3-1 win at Evian on Sunday evening, which moved them into second place -- a point behind leaders Lille -- Bielsa revealed that talks with Labrune had already taken place.

"We met on Friday evening. I have nothing to say about the matter," the former Argentina and Athletic Bilbao boss said.

"From my point of view, the problem is finished with, and we have not scheduled another meeting with Monsieur Labrune. This meeting, which took place on Friday, was private and will stay private. I didn't see any impact on the squad."

A first-minute goal from Andre-Pierre Gignac in Annecy laid the platform for OM's third successive league win.

The starting lineup included Rod Fanni, whom the Marseille board had hoped to sell this summer, and not a single player brought in during the summer transfer window.

Bielsa, who had given his bosses a wish-list of players who were not brought in, insisted that not fielding any of the summer arrivals "was not a message."

"I didn't realise," he said. "It's just a coincidence, but I think it was already the same for the last two matches."
