Juventus claim second win, as Roma also keep 100% record

Juventus moved top of the Serie A table with two wins out of two this season after beating Udinese 2-0 at the Juventus Stadium.

Carlos Tevez and Claudio Marchisio supplied the goals for Massimiliano Allegri's side, who struggled more than necessary after failing to make their pressure count in the first half.

After running a few risks, though, they picked up the win they were looking for to warm them up for Tuesday's Champions League opener against Malmo in Turin.

Earlier on Saturday, Roma also picked up their second win from their opening two matches as they beat Empoli 1-0 at the Stadio Castellini.

An own goal from Luigi Sepe proved to be the only difference between the two sides with the Giallorossi celebrating a second straight clean sheet.

Empoli coach Maurizio Sarri was sent off as his frustrations got the better of him and his side remain rooted to the foot of the table with a second straight defeat.
