Falcao, a reported loan target for Juventus, scored the only goal as the principality club defeated Nantes 1-0.

After the match, the Colombia international spoke about his future and said he wanted to stay, despite Juve appearing to be lining up a bid.

"I'm very happy here," the 28-year-old said. "It's a pleasure to play in this side, and I hope I will stay here."

That will be determined over the next seven days, with the Italian champions reportedly set to make a move on Monday.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, a loan switch between the two clubs could be agreed, with Falcao moving from one Champions League participant to another.

Real Madrid, with Angel Di Maria on the verge of joining Manchester United, may also make a late move for the former Atletico Madrid player.

Should Juve fail in their bid to sign Falcao, general manager Beppe Marotta said they were still "remaining vigilant" in case any late bargains emerge in the last week of the transfer window.

Fernando Torres and Lukas Podolski are the latest names to be linked with a move to Turin.
