Juventus general manager Beppe Marotta has sought to end the speculation surrounding Arturo Vidal by saying the Chile international is not on the market.

Manchester United and Barcelona have been linked with the midfielder this summer, but Marotta insisted such talk was wide of the mark.
"It's like a soap opera, particularly when it comes to the media, without there actually being any real revelations," Marotta told reporters in quotes reported by Tuttosport.
"We have never put Vidal on the market, and he has shown us that he wants to stay here by renewing his contract at the end of last season.
"At the moment, the player has no desire to be sold -- so yes, at this point the Vidal saga can be considered closed."
Marotta also confirmed that sought-after France international midfielder Paul Pogba was about to commit his long-term future to the Serie A champions.
"Negotiations with Pogba's representatives have moved on and are now at an advanced stage," he added. "We hope to make an announcement as soon as possible about his renewal."
Turning his attention to potential incoming deals, Marotta said no approaches had yet been made for Benfica defender Luisao or Paris Saint-Germain's Ezequiel Lavezzi.
"We're waiting for the right opportunity," he said. "It could be a last-minute deal, in which case we are ready for action. We've not contacted anybody, but we are on alert."
