The Sweden international -- currently starring for Paris Saint-Germain -- played for Juventus between 2004 and 2006, winning back-to-back Serie A titles before their relegation to Serie B as part of the Calciopoli scandal.

Stefan Hansson, who worked with the young Ibrahimovic in Sweden, told La Gazzetta dello Sport: "We spoke on Skype a few days ago, and he told me that he would like to return to Juventus if not this year then next year. But it is not a matter of money.

Reminiscing about the 32-year-old, he added: "He was young and crazy -- now he's just crazy."

Ibrahimovic has been linked with a return to Italy throughout his time at PSG, with whom he has won consecutive titles in his two seasons in France.

Hansson currently coaches Indonesian club Mitra Cutra, who take on Juventus in a friendly on Wednesday.
