Juventus have confirmed the signing of midfielder Roberto Pereyra from Udinese on an initial one-year loan deal.

The reigning Serie A champions have paid a fee of 1.5 million euros to loan Pereyra for the 2014-15 and have the option to make the deal permanent for 14 million euros.

Pereyra, 23, normally plays on the left wing and joined Udinese from River Plate in 2011.
Pereyra said: "I'm happy and proud to be here. I still haven't spoken to [new Juve coach Massimiliano] Allegri but we'll get the chance to soon.
"There are plenty of champions here and I'll be watching closely in training to try and learn from them.''
