Roberto Pereyra set for Juventus

Roberto Pereyra is set to become Massimiliano Allegri's third new signing as Juventus coach with a fee reported to have been agreed with his current employers Udinese.

The Argentine midfielder has been linked with the Bianconeri this summer, but a move only now seems set to go through.

The 23-year-old is due to undergo a medical in Turin on Wednesday before joining on an initial one-year loan, although that move will be made permanent next summer, according to Tuttosport.

He would follow the arrivals of Alvaro Morata, Patrice Evra and Kingsley Coman at the Serie A champions, but that would not necessarily mean an end of their summer spending.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Samuel Eto'o could be the next new face in Turin with a one-year contract on the table for the Cameroonian, who is out of contract having left Chelsea.

With Morata ruled out for almost two month, and having already sold Mirko Vucinic and Fabio Quagliarella this summer, more cover in attack may be the 30-time Serie A champions' priority.

Juve are also pondering a move for Bayern Munich midfielder Xherdan Shaqiri. Sky claims contact has been made by Juve's director of sport Fabio Paratici with the player's entourage to assess the Swiss' willingness to move to Turin, although a bid may hinge on the future of Arturo Vidal and Paul Pogba.

Both are attracting interest from top European clubs, but Juve are reluctant to deprive themselves of two of their most valuable assets.
