Chelsea striker Fernando Torres could make a return to Atletico Madrid with the two clubs reportedly locked in negotiations over the weekend and Atletico midfielder Raul Garcia talking up the potential signing.

Atletico's chief executive Miguel Angel Gil Marin was in London to discuss the transfer, according to Eurosport, and will return to Madrid on Monday to continue talks over a possible deal.
Chelsea could be willing accept a cut-price 13 million-pound deal for Torres, but it is being reported that Atletico are aiming to pay even less than that for the Spaniard they sold to Liverpool in 2007 and who moved to Stamford Bridge for 50 million pounds.
Eurosport claims Chelsea are looking to bring in centre-back Miranda as part of the deal, but Atletico insist they must trigger his 23.7 million pound buyout clause.
Torres came through the ranks at Atletico and scored 91 goals in 244 appearances at the Vicente Calderon.
Raul Garcia says Torres would be welcomed back to Atletico with open arms if he opts to leave Chelsea, and played down speculation that Miranda will be the next Rojiblancos player to leave for Stamford Bridge.
"I speak to him [Torres] a lot and he still feels very strongly about this club," Garcia told a news conference.
"His life has been defined by what he experienced here and he is another option just like any other that the media have mentioned. Any great player that can come here will be welcome."
Chelsea -- despite manager Jose Mourinho saying the club's summer transfer dealings are over -- are reported to be interested in signing Atletico defender Miranda, but Garcia does not believe his Brazilian teammate is going anywhere.
"If we took every transfer story seriously we would only have about two or three players left here," he said. "The club has to manage these things, but Miranda is an important player for us."
