Real Madrid yet to seal Toni Kroos deal

Toni Kroos has not yet reached an agreement to join Real Madrid or any other club, his agent has told Bild.

Kroos, 24, is about to move into the final year of his contract at Bayern and there is currently no new deal on the table, with the player reportedly looking for better terms. That means Bayern will consider selling him this summer rather than losing him for nothing next summer.

The Germany international has been strongly linked with Manchester United over the last six months but it is believed their interest has cooled. That has paved the way for Real Madrid to make their reported move for the midfielder.

Kroos has insisted that he will not discuss his future until his participation in the World Cup in Brazil is over, with Germany playing Algeria in the round of 16 on Monday.

This has not silenced rumours of his impending Bayern departure. On Monday, the Spanish paper Marca claimed that Kroos has reached an agreement with Champions League winners Real, and is set to sign a five-year-deal with the transfer believed to be 25 to 30 million euros.

"There is no agreement with Real Madrid or any other club," Kroos' agent Volker Struth told Bild.

Bild insists the player's representatives have held talks with Real Madrid, but have yet to agree personal terms.
