Ochoa: Arjen Robben not only threat

Mexico goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa has said neither he nor his teammates will focus solely on stopping the threat of in-form Arjen Robben when they face Netherlands in the World Cup round of 16 on Sunday.

- Marshall: Mexican football's Dutch connection
- Canales: Social media master Miguel Herrera

Robben has sparkled in Brazil as Louis van Gaal's side won all three of their Group B matches, scoring twice in the stunning 5-1 demolition of defending champions Spain.

He has notched three goals so far, winning two man of the match awards, but Ochoa, currently without a club, told Marca: "We should not think about just one player.

"Netherlands are a team, and they have well known players with quality, but we are going to play our own football. They should also be concerned with what we can do."

Miguel Herrera's Mexico also impressed in the group stages, conceding only one goal in their three games against Cameroon, hosts Brazil and Croatia.

Ochoa said a solid backline was crucial, explaining: "That defensive solidity has been key. It always helps you to pick up points because the forwards then have a chance to make the difference."
