Italy, who would go through as runners-up to Costa Rica with a point in Natal on Tuesday, have been hit by news that midfielder Daniele De Rossi is almost certain to be ruled out with a muscle injury.

The group's other game, between Costa Rica and already-eliminated England in Natal, will be refereed by Djamel Haimoudi, of Algeria.

Tuesday's Group C game between leaders Colombia and Japan in Cuiaba will be officiated by Pedro Proenca of Portugal, while Ecuador's Carlos Vera takes charge of Ivory Coast vs. Greece in Fortaleza.
