Chile coach Jorge Sampaoli had some sympathy for World Cup holders Spain after his side knocked them out at the group stages of the tournament.

Sampaoli's Chile made it two wins from as many games as they recorded a 2-0 victory over Spain at the Maracana, inflicting a second defeat on Vicente del Bosque's team in Brazil.
Spain's 5-1 loss in their opening Group B game coupled with the slump versus the Chileans confirmed they will not progress to the knockout stage despite still having a game against Australia to play.
Sampaoli is quoted by the BBC as saying: "In football everything changes.
"Spain has played very well over the years and had wonderful performances but today that generation of players couldn't keep that success going, and that's normal because success is not forever."
Meanwhile, Sampaoli is eager that Chile maintain their momentum for their final group match against Netherlands, as the two nations battle it out for top spot in Group B.
He added: "Against Netherlands we will have the same approach, knowing we need to win to be first in our group.
"If we don't win against Netherlands we will probably have to play Brazil if they win against Cameroon.
"Considering our performances the most important thing is to play as a team -- and that's why we have been so dangerous and have had such good results."
