Edy Reja is to have talks with Lazio president Claudio Lotito before the two decide if he will remain in charge of the Serie A side.

The 68-year-old Italian took the reins midway through last season to coach the Biancoceleste for the second time in his career.

It remains to be seen if Reja will continue at the Stadio Olimpico, though, with reports in Italy strongly linking Parma coach Roberto Donadoni and Lazio's youth manager Simone Inzaghi with the post.

On the subject of his future, Reja -- who led Lazio to a tenth-placed finish last season -- told Sky Italia: "Will I remain? There is a concrete possibility that this will happen. Until June 30, I am still the coach of Lazio.

"I will meet with Lotito to decide if our roads will still converge. We often speak but we want to meet face to face to take a joint decision.

"We have a good rapport and we will not need long to reach an understanding.''

Reja believes Inzaghi should be strongly considered for the job if he himself does not continue.

"Inzaghi has done well even if he only has experience with the youth team,'' he added. "The most important thing is that he knows the environment and the players.

"He could be considered as my replacement in the event that I decide not to remain at Lazio.''
