Medhi Benatia says he is happy to return to Italy with Juventus after spending two seasons at Bayern Munich.
Benatia, 29, signed a one-year loan deal with the Serie A champions on Friday after failing to command a starting place with Bayern.
The Morocco international defender is now focused on helping Juve retain the league title for a sixth season and improving on their run to the quarterfinals in the Champions League.
He told a news conference: "I wanted to return to Italy and to join Juventus was a logical choice for me. The aim is to retain our supremacy in Italy and be competitive in Europe. I don't think Juventus are missing a whole lot to win the Champions League.
"I can play both in a three and four-man defence. I'm available to help the team whatever the formation."
Benatia will link up with former Roma teammate Miralem Pjanic in Turin -- something he is looking forward to.
"Miralem is a great player and friend of mine," he added. "I feel happy and fortunate to play with him again."
