Inter Milan president Erick Thohir has ruled out selling any of his club's best players this summer, saying instead that he is intent on strengthening the Nerazzurri squad. Mauro Icardi, Ivan Perisic and Marcelo Brozovic have all been linked with moves away from the club while financial fair play restrictions mean Inter still need to cut down their expenditure, but the Indonesian tycoon says none of his side's top brass will be sold. "They are staying here and people can ask us for them as much as they want, we're not letting them go," Thohir told Il Corriere dello Sport. "We've got a strategy. We want to have 16 players of the same value. They don't necessarily have to be superstars, but we are involved in the league and the Europa League and we're going to need to rotate a lot. "We will decide together who comes -- it's not going to be just me saying 'buy him.' All our decisions have always been made together and that includes [coach Roberto] Mancini and all the staff. We have all got to agree and reflect on what is best for the squad, not just for the president or for the coach." Signing new players will nevertheless only be possible by selling some of their current squad, but Thohir has dismissed reports linking Brozovic with a move to Roma. "I've never heard of an offer from Roma or my friend [Roma president James] Pallotta for Brozovic," he said. "Brozovic is an important part of our squad. We have to think long and hard before selling any of our players to another club in Serie A because you always risk strengthening one of your rivals. Of course we do have to sell one of our forwards." The funds could then be used to make a bid for Manchester City's Yaya Toure, but when asked specifically about his club's interest in the Ivory Coast midfielder, Thohir said "it depends on financial fair play."
