ICC schedule features Madrid, Barca, Manchester clubs, Liverpool, more

Real Madrid will face Roma in the International Champions Cup this summer in what could be a rematch of the Champions League final, and Zinedine Zidane's men will also go up against Manchester United and Juventus on their United States tour.

United will also face Premier League rivals Liverpool and AC Milan in a three-game tour that could draw over 200,000 fans, while Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich could test themselves against three other title winners.

The International Champions Cup announced its full schedule for its 2018 event on Tuesday, with 18 of the world's top clubs set to play three games each in games across the U.S., Europe and Singapore.

Real Madrid and Roma, who could play for the European title in May if both win their Champions League semifinals against Bayern and Liverpool, respectively, will meet at MetLife Stadium, just outside of New York City, on Aug. 7.

A week earlier, Madrid will begin the competition against United in a showcased game in Miami, before taking on Juventus outside Washington.

United, spending its summer in the U.S. for the fourth time in five years, will work its way from west to east, opening against Milan at the 92,500-seat Rose Bowl in Southern California, then facing Liverpool at 107,600-capacity Michigan Stadium before finishing up against Madrid in Florida.

Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor has the world's second-largest capacity after North Korea's national stadium. The stadium hosted over 109,000 people for United's game against Real Madrid in 2014, before removing about 2,000 seats in a slight reconfiguration. Madrid faced Chelsea there last summer in front of over 105,000.

Barcelona, who last year faced Real Madrid in a Clasico in Miami, have a more low-key slate this summer, facing Tottenham at the Rose Bowl, Roma at AT&T Stadium outside of Dallas, and AC Milan at Levi's Stadium outside San Francisco.

The game against Roma will allow Barcelona a chance at revenge after the Giallorossi dumped them out of the Champions League in the quarterfinals.

Bayern Munich will face French champions Paris Saint-Germain in Austria before coming to the U.S. and facing Juventus -- who could win win the Italian title as soon as Sunday -- in Philadelphia, and English champions Manchester City in Miami.

Man City will open against Borussia Dortmund in Chicago and then face Liverpool in New Jersey before the Bayern game.

Dortmund, who will make their second trip to the U.S. this year, will face their former manager Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool before then facing Man City, and then giving U.S. star Christian Pulisic a chance to play in his native Pennsylvania in a game against Benfica at Pittsburgh's Heinz Field.

PSG, Arsenal and Atletico Madrid will face each other over three games in Singapore from July 26 to 30. They will not come to U.S., playing their other games in Europe.

Arsenal will then face London rivals Chelsea in Stockholm. Chelsea and Inter Milan, who will play each other in Gothenburg, Sweden, will contest all three of their games in Europe.
