A great comeback from Liverpool. West Ham looked pretty comfortable in the second half until the away side grabbed two goals in the last 15 minutes to take all three points.
And there is the full-time whistle.
Shelvey is down injured which is wasting some time away for Liverpool.
Gerrard drives forward into the West Ham box and lays the ball off to Sterling but it is intercepted just as the Liverpool man was ready to shoot.
Liverpool are keeping the ball in the West Ham half, much to the annoyance of the home side.
Shelvey does brilliantly to turn and twist past Reid and Noble in the box. Reid makes a great challenge just as Shelvey was ready to shoot and probably score.
Five minutes added on time are to be played. Brendan Rodgers does not look happy on the touchline.
Maiga takes it but he blazes it over the bar. A real waste.
West Ham have won a free kick in a dangerous position.
Liverpool break down the other end as Sterling beats Collins and finds himself one on one however Jaaskelainen does well to burst out of his area to clear the danger.
Jarvis sends a ball in from the left. Coates is unable to deal with it and Maiga tries to get his head on it but Reina punches clear.
Coates comes on for Allen.
Taylor goes off to be replaced by Maiga.
It is Liverpool who are looking like finding another at the moment.
Sterling burst forward down the left but O'Brien stops him in his tracks.
Joe Cole tries a long-range effort but he sends it high and wide.

Henderson finds himself in space down the right and spots the run of Shelvey. The striker gets a touch that takes a wicked deflection off Collins and over Jaaskelainen and into the back of the net.

Johnson does well down the right before Gerrard fires a cross in but Jaaskelainen does well to claim .
Liverpool have had just three shots on target today.
Joe Cole has been pretty quiet up to that point.
Sterling plays a lovely ball into Cole's path, after a one-two with Shelvey, and the former Hammer finds the bottom corner with a great strike.

Tomkins comes on for Diame. The midfielder was stretchered off with a bad looking injury.
Liverpool starting to impose themselves onto this game a little bit more effectively now.

A real chance for Liverpool as Downing finds Shelvey with a cross from the left but the striker's header goes just wide.
Jarvis does well to beat Allen on the left before standing a cross into the box. Taylor gets his head to it but Reina makes a comfortable save.
Gerrard's corner is headed clear as far as Johnson. The full back gets to the byline and pulls the ball back across goal but West Ham clear.
Downing sends a ball across goal from the left. Joe Cole dummies it before Sterling hits it first time and Jaaskelainen tips it over the bar.
Sterling tries to find the run of Shelvey but Reid uses his strength to outmuscle his opponent.
Liverpool in the final third in this second half have been very uninspiring.
Downing sends a very poor ball into the box that Collins is able to clear with ease.
O'Brien does well on the right and stands a cross into the box. Johnson tries to clear but it hits Jarvis and bounces off for a goal kick.
Shelvey is doing his best to try and drop deep to get hold of the ball but is having little luck.
Johnson tries to work a cross in from the right but McCartney does well to clear out for a throw.
The home side are looking by far the more likely of finding the next goal.
Cole does brilliantly to turn Agger and race past him. He tries to find Taylor in the middle but Skrtel does well to intercept.
Liverpool are really short of ideas going forward. They have not got too many options on the bench either.
Johnson comes forward down the right and tries to cut inside but Collins gets the tackle in. Shelvey tries the shot but Collins blocks again.
Collins gets his head on the corner but he heads it high and wide.
Skrtel does well to get his head on Jarvis' cross from the left to concede the corner.
Liverpool come forward but Shelvey and Sterling have different ideas and the move comes to an end.
Nolan gets a shot away at goal but the Liverpool defence are able to block it.
They are definitely missing Luis Suarez for both his goal threat and creativity.
Liverpool have lost the rhythm in their play that saw them start the game so positively.
Liverpool starting to see some more of the ball. Joe Cole tries to chip a ball into the box for Gerrard but his pass is easily intercepted.
Noble sends a cross in from the right but Skrtel heads clear.

McCartney does well to get forward down the left but his cross is headed clear. Collins sends it in from deep but Reina comes off his line to collect.

McCartney is tested early on by the pace of Sterling but the Liverpool man soon loses possession.
West Ham get the second half underway.

Liverpool started the game by far the brighter but West Ham have pulled themselves back into the game. Steven Gerrard's own goal separates the two teams.
And there's half time.
Downing sends a cross in from the left but Shelvey can only head it well wide of the goal.
Johnson comes forward but his pass to Shelvey was poor.
Johnson sends in a corner for Liverpool but Jaaskelainen come out to claim.
Three minutes of injury time to be played.
Downing finds some space down the left and pulls the ball back to Shelvey. He hits it first time but does not connect properly and fails to find the target.
That was actually a very good attacking header from Gerrard. Shame it was at the wrong end.
It's that man Jarvis once again who sends a ball in from the left. Gerrard rises highest but somehow ends up heading it into the bottom corner of his own net.

Carlton Cole is giving Skrtel real problems as he wins a free kick off the defender.
West Ham are really growing into the game now.
West Ham break down the other end through Diame. He plays in Jarvis who races past Allen. His cross comes back out to Demel who picks out Taylor in the middle but the midfielder heads over.
Liverpool probe West Ham's defence but cannot find the right pass. Downing eventually wastes possession as he tries to play a neat flick over the top of the defence.
Taylor goes into the book for a late challenge.
West Ham were knocking on the door leading up to that penalty.
Reina guesses the right direction but the penalty is too good from Noble as he finds the bottom corner perfectly.

West Ham win a penalty. Allen handballs while trying to close down a Demel shot.
Taylor takes the free kick but it is poor and easy for Reina to deal with.
Gerrard picks up a yellow for the foul.
Gerrard sends in a corner but West Ham clear only as far as Agger who shoots but his shot is blocked. West Ham break but Gerrard brings down Diame on the edge of the box.
West Ham are very good at keeping the ball alive around the opposition's penalty box as we are seeing today.
Shelvey goes into the book for a late tackle on Diame.
Skrtel does well to prevent Cole from getting a shot in on goal. The Liverpool centre backs are having to work very hard today.
Nolan picks out Jarvis on the left. The winger picks out Cole but Liverpool again manage to scramble it away.
Liverpool go up the other end but Sterling blazes a shot over the bar.
It was a great challenge from Agger to deny Carlton Cole.
Jarvis races down to the byline and pulls a ball back across the face of the goal. Carlton Cole is there to meet it but he is unable to get much contact on the ball.
One old West Ham man has already scored. Can Joe Cole do the same?
Joe Cole comes on for Enrique. Looks like the full back has picked up an injury.
Collins sends a free kick in from deep into the Liverpool box. The away side head it clear but it looked like Cole was having his shirt pulled by Skrtel.
Joe Cole looks like he is about to come on.
But at the same time it is causing the Liverpool defence a few problems.
West Ham are looking a little limited in their play. The rare occasion they are seeing the ball now they are sending it into the box and soon losing it.
Jarvis sends a ball in from the left. Reina punches and Liverpool soon get it clear.
The one thing I would say about Johnson is that he is playing like a midfielder at the moment so Liverpool should make sure they are not too exposed when he is forward.
Gerrard tries to find Johnson down the right but just overhits the pass. The right back is clearly Liverpool's main outlet.
Johnson turns Cole with ease. He is having a bit of a field day at the moment.
Demel sends a ball in from the right but Agger heads clear.
A long ball over the top lands on the head of Cole but he can only head it straight at Reina. Should really have done better there and he knows it.
It was Gerrard who picked out Johnson there with a fine cross-field ball.
Johnson races past Jarvis and into the box but Liverpool's attack soon comes to an end. He is causing his old side real problems.
Johnson has been a constant threat to West Ham so far.
Johnson once again pours forward for Liverpool. He cuts into the box and finds Sterling who strikes first time but hits it wide. Should have done better.
What have West Ham got in response? Remember they conceded first against Chelsea last week before coming from behind to win in the second half.
Johnson picks up the ball in a similar position but this time he plays it to Gerrard. The skipper's shot at goal takes a deflection and West Ham clear the danger.

Sterling plays an aimless pass for Liverpool that fails to pick out neither Shelvey or Gerrard.

West Ham take a quick free kick and Noble plays it to Nolan. The Hammers skipper was not expecting it but his delivery deflects off for a corner.
Jarvis has had a good start to the game for the Hammers. You feel he will be key for the home side today.
Jarvis gets another ball in from the left into the box. Liverpool clear but only as far as Diame on the edge of the box. His shot deflects off Cole and bounces just wide of the post. Reina was beaten there.
Liverpool will probably have to deal with a lot of crosses today.

Stewart Downing comes in for the suspended Luis Suarez, with Jonjo Shelvey playing up front in his absence.
Matt Taylor and Mohamed Diame come into the Hammers side at the expense of James Tomkins and Gary O'Neil.
